Abstract

Vocal music tradition, as a core component of Chinese culture, embodies the essence of national heritage. However, under the powerful impact of modern music and the transformation of lifestyle, the inheritance of vocal music tradition faces numerous challenges. This paper, from the perspective of intangible cultural heritage, integrates Mediterranean archaeological methodologies to explore the current status, existing issues, and innovative pathways of the integration between vocal music tradition and intangible cultural heritage. Firstly, it analyzes the current state of integration of vocal music tradition and intangible cultural heritage in the Mediterranean region. Secondly, it summarizes the dilemmas and challenges encountered during the integration process. Finally, it proposes archaeological-based integration and innovation pathways, aiming to provide theoretical references for researchers and practitioners in relevant fields, thereby promoting the synergistic development of vocal music art and intangible cultural heritage, allowing this ancient art form to shine anew in modern society.
