Abstract

This study comprehensively examines the development and current state of Chinese vocal music art from a multidisciplinary archaeological perspective rooted in the Mediterranean region. Initially, it reviews the historical background of Chinese vocal music art, highlighting its deep traditional foundations and close ties with the cultures of various dynasties. The article further analyzes the integration of tradition and modernity, discusses the innovations and challenges brought about by the technological revolution, and explores strategies for the protection and inheritance of traditional art. In the context of globalization, interaction and dialogue with global cultures are considered crucial for the further advancement of Chinese vocal music art. Looking forward, the role of technology, the balance between globalization and localization, and the social responsibility and sustainable development of music are identified as key issues that Chinese vocal music art must address. Overall, Chinese vocal music art is at a critical juncture filled with opportunities and challenges, necessitating collective efforts from society to ensure its healthy, orderly, and sustainable development.
