Piano music in our country has a developmental history spanning over a century, evolving through stages of performance technique training, integration of indigenous musical elements, and diversification of creative styles, emerging as a significant artistic form in our nation's musical landscape. Given the foreign origins of piano art, the differences and integration between Chinese and foreign cultures and arts become essential research subjects for the development of Chinese piano music. From a cross-cultural perspective, the global dissemination of Chinese culture and art can enhance our country's cultural soft power, boost cultural confidence and national identity, and promote global recognition and acceptance of Chinese culture. This study examines the cultural integration and dissemination of piano music in the context of Mediterranean archaeological sites, utilizing empirical materials such as musical instrument remains and fragmentary scores discovered through archaeology. It analyzes the interaction and influence between Chinese and foreign musical cultures, revealing the unique role of piano music in ancient cultural exchanges, providing a new perspective for understanding cultural diversity and ancient music dissemination in the Mediterranean region.
