Abstract

Amidst the robust growth of the cultural industry, the creation of film and television animation faces new opportunities and challenges. Fully tapping and utilizing the rich archaeological heritage of the Mediterranean region in this creative process is of paramount importance. This paper explores the necessity of integrating Mediterranean archaeological elements into film and television animation creation. By examining the current state of China's film and television animation industry, it analyzes the existing issues in the application of Mediterranean archaeological culture. The paper also summarizes specific strategies for the expression and effective communication of Mediterranean archaeological heritage in film and television animation, including the application of multidisciplinary research methods, digital reconstruction of archaeological sites, and effective dissemination of cultural heritage. The aim is to innovatively showcase the unique archaeological culture of the Mediterranean through the medium of animation, enhance the development level of Chinese film and television animation, and achieve effective inheritance and global dissemination of Mediterranean archaeological heritage, thereby presenting the charm of traditional Mediterranean culture to the world.
