Abstract

The Manchu culture, with a history spanning thousands of years, exhibits unique ethnic characteristics in its way of life, clothing and accessories, and decorative totems, embodying significant artistic value and profound cultural significance. This paper delves into the life of the Manchu people during the Qing Dynasty from an archaeological perspective, extracting culturally distinctive design elements and techniques from Manchu auspicious patterns, clothing styles, and leisure activities. By reinterpreting Manchu culture and spirit through modern design language and innovative approaches, it offers substantial commercial value and cultural heritage preservation insights for contemporary patterns and fashion.
