Abstract

Léonora Miano, a French author of Cameroonian origin, draws inspiration from African, Afro-American, and European cultures in her French writings. This triple cultural background enriches her unique "border aesthetic". This paper aims to explore how Miano's "border aesthetic" responds to Edouard Glissant's concepts of "literature-world" (including Rhizome identity, Creolization, and Chaos-World) through specific textual analyses. The exploration will focus on three dimensions: multilingualism, fluid imagery, and hybrid identity. By integrating archaeological and natural scientific perspectives, this study further reveals the underlying mechanisms of cultural convergence in Miano's works, providing new insights into the study of ancient cultural interactions in the Mediterranean region.
