Application and Innovation of XR Technology in Digital Media Art for Archaeological Exhibition
Abstract
The continuous development of digital media art is increasingly intertwined with technological innovation. This paper explores the innovative application of XR technology (including AR, MR, and VR) in archaeological exhibitions, offering new possibilities for the innovation of artistic expression. Supported by digital technology, traditional art forms have undergone transformation, and the forms and expressive power of digital media art have significantly changed. XR technology not only alters the cognitive and experiential forms of artistic aesthetics but also redefines the interaction and experiential methods between artworks and audiences, enhancing the expressive power and influence of digital media art through its immersive and interactive nature. In the field of archaeology, the application of XR technology not only improves the display effectiveness of cultural heritage but also provides the public with a more intuitive and vivid archaeological experience. In the future, the widespread adoption of XR technology will further lead to new developments in digital media art for archaeological exhibitions.
