Abstract

This research focuses on the Yangjia Gou site in Northern Shaanxi Province, China, aiming to explore its historical origins, cultural significance, and contemporary preservation strategies through multidisciplinary archaeological methodologies. Integrating perspectives from archaeology, anthropology, and history, this study comprehensively analyzes archaeological excavation data from the Yangjia Gou site, examining its evolutionary processes across different historical periods and its interactions with surrounding cultures. The research reveals the challenges faced by the site amidst urbanization and economic development, and proposes innovative preservation strategies based on community engagement, digital technology applications, and festival celebrations. The findings underscore the critical importance of cultural sensitivity, community collaboration, and adaptive strategies for the long-term preservation and transmission of the Yangjia Gou site. This study provides valuable insights for cultural heritage preservation in Northern Shaanxi and beyond.
