The Application of Cross-Cultural Education in Korean Teaching in Higher Education: An Archaeological Perspective
Abstract
This paper explores the principles and application pathways of integrating cross-cultural education into Korean teaching in higher education under the cooperative education model. With the increasing demand for internationalization in colleges and universities, the study of cross-cultural education in Korean language instruction holds significant importance. The paper proposes principles for the introduction of cross-cultural education, which include the diversity of educational resources, the multiplicity of teaching staff, and the practicality of Korean education. However, the cooperative education model also presents challenges such as cultural differences between China and South Korea, language sensitivity issues, and problems in student level assessment. The paper suggests coping strategies, including respecting cultural differences, avoiding sensitive language teaching, and establishing a diversified evaluation mechanism. Furthermore, from an archaeological perspective, the paper discusses the impact of Korean education in higher education, which can effectively enhance students' cross-cultural literacy, increase opportunities for international cooperation, and promote cultural and educational exchanges between China and South Korea, particularly in the field of archaeology.
