In the context of globalized music, the application of traditional Chinese music elements in piano compositions is increasingly prevalent, infusing piano music with a unique Eastern charm. This paper, set against the backdrop of ancient Mediterranean civilizational interactions, explores the specific application of traditional Chinese music elements in piano works and analyzes their contributions to the exchange and development of music between China and the West. Employing a multidisciplinary approach that integrates perspectives from archaeology, cultural anthropology, and musicology, the study reveals the interactions and influences between ancient Mediterranean civilizations and Chinese musical culture. The paper also examines the manifestation of these musical elements in archaeological findings and their implications for modern musical composition, aiming to provide new insights into Mediterranean archaeology and cultural exchange research.
