Abstract

With the continuous integration and advancement of information technology in the media field, the era of digital new media has emerged, providing not only a new platform for the display of imaging art but also imposing higher demands on archaeological imaging creation. The development of new media has profoundly influenced artists' creative concepts and methods, offering more possibilities and innovative spaces for imaging as an artistic expression form and various aspects of creative techniques. This aids in breaking the boundaries of video art's domain and creativity, enhancing its imagination, and enabling archaeological imaging art to better carry out cultural inheritance and development through new attributes such as virtual-real integration, three-dimensional display, and interactive experience. Based on this, this article starts from the background of the new media context, analyzes the new forms of new media imaging, and discusses in detail the characteristics of imaging art in this context, presenting a comprehensive analysis of the diversified expressions of archaeological imaging art. The emergence and development of new media have not only altered artists' creative concepts, means, and methods but also broadened the role of imaging art in the field of visual art, posing new challenges to the development of contemporary imaging. This has granted imaging art more possibilities and a greater development space in the context of the digital media era, thereby promoting the diversified development of archaeological imaging art in the context of new media.
