Abstract

In the context of the era of quality education, the rational application of innovative paths in dance education in universities has become a hot topic of widespread research in society. Through continuous optimization and improvement by educators, dance courses, as a practical and artistic subject knowledge, have a positive impact on promoting students to master corresponding dance theory knowledge and skills. From an interdisciplinary archaeological perspective, this paper first briefly elaborates on the implementation significance of innovative application of dance courses and educational models in universities, taking into account the actual situation of ancient dance education in the Mediterranean region. Secondly, it describes the current status of dance education models and curriculum settings in universities. Finally, it analyzes the current situation of dance education in universities and optimization measures for professional courses from different perspectives, aiming to provide some reference value for peers in the fields of archaeology, anthropology, and cultural heritage management.
