Abstract

This study employs a multidisciplinary approach, integrating narratology and international communication theories with archaeological methodologies, to analyze the international communication strategies of Chinese urban publicity films. It proposes strategic development directions for these films in terms of content, channels, and audience engagement. By broadening the horizons of related research fields, this study summarizes feasible strategies for urban publicity films in theme selection, content curation, and narrative techniques, providing theoretical support and practical guidance for enhancing the international communication effectiveness of Chinese cities and the national image.
