Abstract

This paper explores the psychological healing mechanism of animation art from the perspective of flow experience, integrating multidisciplinary methods from archaeology. Initially, it analyzes the characteristics of flow experience in animation art at the perceptual level, including visual attraction, emotional resonance, temporal distortion, and attention concentration, as well as at the behavioral level, encompassing active participation, balance of skills and challenges, immediate feedback, and continuous input. Subsequently, by drawing on the evolutionary logic in archaeology—from physical invisibility to ritual presence, from visual authoritarianism to multidimensional perception, and from linear tours to multidimensional narratives—it delves into the generative logic and psychological healing mechanism of animation art's flow experience. Finally, based on the developmental logic of reducing anxiety and stress, enhancing self-knowledge and emotion management, and promoting socialization and interpersonal relationships, the specific psychological healing mechanisms of animation art are analyzed. This study provides a novel perspective and method for the interdisciplinary research of animation art in psychological healing.
