Abstract

This study investigates the integration of elements from Boke (Mongolian wrestling), a Chinese national intangible heritage, into modern men's fashion. Boke, with its rich cultural heritage and historical significance, is a prominent representation of Mongolian culture. The primary research query focuses on how Boke, as a traditional art form, can be reimagined and developed in the context of contemporary aesthetics to garner broader interest and ensure its dynamic preservation and innovation. Employing a detailed analysis of historical and cultural data related to Boke's attire, this paper explores various design methodologies for incorporating Boke elements into modern men's wear. The research method involves drawing inspiration from the styles, patterns, characters, and scenes of Boke, followed by a creative application of these elements through multi-dimensional transformation. The study concludes that blending Boke elements with contemporary men's fashion not only serves as an expression of national self-confidence but also plays a crucial role in cultural inheritance and the promotion of the national spirit. Furthermore, this integration offers new directions for the evolution of modern men's fashion, highlighting the potential of traditional arts in enriching contemporary design landscapes.
