Abstract

This paper explores the translation and dissemination of Yue culture from an archaeological perspective, analyzing its cross-cultural communication modes within the historical context of the Mediterranean region. As a unique cultural system in southern China, Yue culture is rich in historical and cultural connotations, and its translation and dissemination have played a significant role in promoting cross-cultural communication. The paper first reviews the historical development and translation process of Yue culture, and then, employing archaeological methodologies, analyzes its typical communication models and cases in the Mediterranean region. Through literature review, case studies, and data analysis, the main challenges and successful experiences encountered in the translation and dissemination of Yue culture are summarized, with suggestions proposed for optimizing cross-cultural communication modes. This study not only deepens the understanding of Yue culture but also provides a valuable reference for the cross-cultural communication of other cultures from an archaeological standpoint.
