This paper examines the representation and transmission of traditional patterns in Mediterranean and Chinese leather arts from an archaeological perspective. Amidst globalization, cultural exchanges between regions are becoming increasingly frequent, presenting both challenges and opportunities for traditional art forms. Leather art, as a significant mode of cultural expression, not only embodies regional history and craftsmanship but also reflects the evolution of social customs and aesthetic concepts.
