As an important form of artistic expression, film and television music not only reflects the connotation of culture, but also profoundly affects the audience's emotional experience and cultural identity. Under the background of globalization, the communication and collision between Chinese and Western cultures become more and more frequent, which makes the analysis of film and television music art become a necessary research direction. This paper aims to explore the influence of Chinese and Western cultural differences on film and television music art, and analyze its performance characteristics and artistic value under different cultural backgrounds.
First of all, this paper expounds the importance of cultural differences in music creation and performance by summarizing the basic characteristics of Chinese and Western cultures. There are significant differences between Chinese and Western cultures in values, aesthetic orientation and artistic expression techniques, and these differences are especially evident in film and television music. For example, Western music emphasizes individual expression and emotional expression, while Chinese music pays more attention to collectivism and the transmission of inner emotions. This cultural background difference directly affects the creation of film and television music and audience acceptance.
