The Relationship Between Traditional Music Culture and Cultural Identity in College Music Education: A Dual Perspective of Theory and Practice
Abstract
This study aims to explore the interactive relationship between traditional music culture and cultural identity in college music education, and analyze the importance of traditional music culture in college music education and its impact on students' cultural identity from the dual perspectives of theory and practice. With the acceleration of globalization, the status of traditional music culture in modern education system is increasingly challenged, but it still plays an irreplaceable role in shaping students' cultural identity, inheriting national spirit and strengthening cultural self-confidence. This paper first reviews the relevant theories of cultural identity and analyzes how traditional music culture plays a role in the construction of identity. Through the investigation and case analysis of the current situation of traditional music culture teaching in college music courses, the study further reveals the key role of teachers in curriculum design, teaching methods and student participation. The research shows that the teaching mode combining theory and practice can effectively enhance students' sense of identity to traditional music culture and promote the formation of cultural consciousness. Finally, this paper puts forward some suggestions on the inheritance path of traditional music culture and the deepening of cultural identity in the future college music education, in order to provide theoretical support and guidance for educational practice.
