Abstract

This study examines the role of sculptural art in the preservation and transmission of historical memory, focusing on the use of cultural symbols and visual narratives to achieve a three-dimensional representation of the past. By analyzing the interplay between symbolic elements and narrative techniques in sculptural works, the research aims to uncover how these artworks depict historical events and evoke the emotional and cultural resonances that underpin collective memory. The study explores the significance of cultural symbols in encapsulating shared beliefs and values, as well as the mechanisms of visual narrative in contributing to the storytelling process. Through this dual focus, the research demonstrates how sculptural art can offer a three-dimensional portrayal of historical memory, making the past more accessible and resonant for contemporary audiences.
