Abstract

Three sherds from the Theopetra cave, Thessaly, Greece have been dated by additive dose optically stimulated luminescence, using both single aliquot and multiple aliquot methods Alternative correction procedures for the single aliquot method are found to give consistent equivalent dose values in agreement with he value from the multiple aliquot method. The relevant dose rate to convert the equivalent dose to age is discussed.
